Prospects arrive with a shortlist you're not on
A buyer tells your sales team they asked ChatGPT and got three other names. The pages that describe your category may barely mention you.
COSEOM® is a generative engine optimization agency for B2B software and technology companies. Some call it AEO. When your buyers ask ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews or Perplexity which vendors to look at, we show what those answers say about you today, then fix the pages and sources behind them, in the markets where you sell.
We reply within one working day.
You usually hear about it from sales first.
A buyer tells your sales team they asked ChatGPT and got three other names. The pages that describe your category may barely mention you.
An assistant says you don't serve mid-market, or quotes a plan you retired two years ago. Old pages and outdated directory profiles can be behind it.
When a buyer asks for you versus a competitor, the answer cites their comparison page, and you have no page of your own for it to use.
We ask ChatGPT and Gemini nine questions a buyer in your market would ask, without naming you, and show how often you appear and who appears instead. No email needed for the result.

Some teams call this answer engine optimization (AEO) or AI search optimization. The work is the same, and it sits inside our wider AI marketing services. New to the topic? Our guide to generative engine optimization covers the basics.
We run your buyers' questions, stage by stage, through each engine and in each market. You see who gets named, which pages get cited and where you don’t appear.
Your pricing page, comparison articles, use-case pages and product facts, rewritten or created so an engine can quote a clear, specific answer.
Your company and products described the same way on your site, LinkedIn, G2 and directories, with structured data that matches what each page actually says.
robots.txt, indexing and snippet settings, checked crawler by crawler. A block meant for model training shouldn't also hide you from AI search.
We find the review sites, comparison articles and directories that get cited for your category, then help you get listed and described accurately there.
Share of answer per engine and market, cited pages, AI referral visits and leads, all compared with where you started.
The foundation is the same. The goal is different: SEO aims for a ranking and a click, GEO aims for a mention or a citation inside the answer.
To show as a supporting link in AI Overviews or AI Mode, Google says a page must be indexed and eligible to be shown in Google Search with a snippet. Good technical and content SEO comes first.
SEO aims for a position on the results page. GEO aims for your company's name, or a link to your page, inside the answer itself.
Buyers type full questions with context. Google says AI Mode splits a question into subtopics and searches for each one.
COSEOM® plans SEO, GEO and paid search together, in one team. Paid placements inside ChatGPT are a separate channel, covered by ChatGPT Ads.
Access and product facts come first, because the content and source work builds on them. We don't put a date on results, but you always know what comes next.
We agree with you on which buyer questions to track, stage by stage, and run them through each engine in each market.
You get: your prompt set and a baseline that shows who gets named, which pages get cited and where you don't appear.
We check robots.txt, indexing and snippet settings crawler by crawler, and fix missing or wrong product facts. We help describe your company and products the same way on your site, LinkedIn, G2 and directories, with structured data that matches what each page actually says.
You get: first fixes in priority order, and the product facts we corrected.
We start where competitors get named and you don't: pricing page, comparison articles, use-case pages, written so an engine can quote a clear, specific answer. Your team confirms the product facts only you know.
You get: the pages your buyers need, rewritten or created and published in the markets where you sell.
We find the review sites, comparison articles and directories that get cited for your category, then help you get listed and described accurately there.
You get: a list of the third-party pages cited for your category, and help getting listed and described accurately on them.
Every month we run the same prompt set again, compare it with the baseline, and put more effort into what is getting cited.
You get: share of answer per engine and market, cited pages, AI referral visits and leads, all compared with where you started.
A single screenshot shows one answer at one moment, so it proves very little. We track trends across many prompts, and add the platforms' own data where they provide it.
How often you're named across your prompt set, next to the competitors you name, in ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews and AI Mode, Copilot, Perplexity and the rest.
Which of your URLs the engines link to, and which third-party pages they use instead. Bing Webmaster Tools shows how your content appears across Microsoft Copilot, AI summaries in Bing and select partner integrations. Bing says its grounding query data is a sample of overall citation activity.
Sessions from AI tools in your analytics. Google reports traffic from its AI features in the Search Console Performance report, within the Web search type, so we read it there too.
Form fills and sales calls where the buyer says they found you through ChatGPT or another assistant, tracked in your CRM. Attribution from an answer to a deal is limited, and we tell you that upfront.
COSEOM® is rated 5.0 out of 5.0 on Clutch, and we never publish a client's visitor counts or the keywords a client targets. You can find more examples in our B2B case studies.
Together with the team at a legal software company, we grew organic traffic by 200%. That comes from their Senior Manager, Digital Marketing, in a verified Clutch review. It is organic search growth.

Nothing above is an AI visibility result. To see what AI answers say about your company today, the free audit is the better evidence: your buyers' questions tested in each engine, the competitors named instead of you and the pages that get cited.
The audit is free. After that, the price depends on three things: how many markets you sell in, how many products or topics your buyers ask about, and how much of your current content needs fixing. We scope the work once the audit shows how big each of those is.
Ask every agency on your list the same questions. Which buyer questions will they track, and can you see their prompt set? Do they report results separately by engine and market? Do they fix pages and settings themselves, or only advise? What do they measure, and against which baseline? And who works on your account? Our answers are on this page. The free audit shows you how we would approach your company: your buyers' questions tested in each engine, the competitors named instead of you, and the first fixes in priority order.
We won't give you a date. Some changes land fast: OpenAI says that, for search results, it can take about 24 hours for its systems to adjust to a robots.txt change. Getting named in answers takes longer, because the content and source work has to be done and published first. The order is always the same: the audit and first fixes, then content and source work, then regular re-measurement against your baseline.
First you get the baseline. We agree with you on which buyer questions to track, run them through each engine in each market, and show you who gets named, which pages get cited and where you don't appear. Next comes a list of first fixes in priority order, such as robots.txt rules, indexing gaps and missing or wrong product facts.
No. No agency controls what ChatGPT or any other engine answers, so no one can honestly promise a mention or a position. What we commit to is the measurement: the same prompt set, run every month, per engine and market, showing how often you're named, which pages get cited and who shows up instead.
ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews and AI Mode, Microsoft Copilot, Perplexity, Gemini and Claude. We focus on the ones your buyers use. Being named in one doesn't mean you're named in the others, so the audit reports each engine separately.
No, it builds on it. To show as a supporting link in AI Overviews or AI Mode, Google says a page has to be indexed and eligible to be shown in Google Search with a snippet. Its AI features page says there are no additional requirements to appear there, and its newer AI optimization guide names one setting: the site must be included in Search generative AI features in Search Console, which is the default. So SEO stays the foundation. What changes is the goal: being named or cited inside the answer. COSEOM® runs SEO and GEO in one team, so you don't have to coordinate two agencies.
In practice, none. Generative engine optimization (GEO) and answer engine optimization (AEO) are two names for the same goal: getting your company named and cited in AI answers. We run them as one program. Our SEO vs AEO vs GEO comparison goes into more detail.
Open ChatGPT, Perplexity or Google AI Mode and ask what your buyers ask before they talk to sales: the best tools for their problem, or you versus a named competitor. Note who gets named and, where the answer shows sources, which pages are cited. Ask each question a few times and compare. Our free AEO Prompt Library gives you prompts to start with, or request the free audit and we run it across engines and markets for you.
Access to your analytics, Google Search Console and Bing Webmaster Tools. A CMS login or a developer contact. Your main competitors and priority markets. And someone who can confirm product facts and approve content. We run the audit, write and fix the content and handle the measurement; your team supplies the product facts that only you know.
Yes. Buyers in each market ask in their own language, so we write your prompts in that language, measure each market on its own, and write content for that market instead of translating it word for word. Google announced on 7 October 2025 that AI Mode would be available in over 200 countries and territories.
Decide crawler by crawler, because at OpenAI, Anthropic and Google, model training and search use separate settings. OpenAI's GPTBot is its training crawler, while OAI-SearchBot surfaces sites in ChatGPT search, and OpenAI says sites that block OAI-SearchBot are not shown in ChatGPT search answers, though they can still appear as navigational links. Anthropic separates ClaudeBot from Claude-SearchBot and says blocking the search crawler may reduce your visibility in its search results. Google says blocking Google-Extended does not affect your inclusion in Google Search. We go through your robots.txt with your IT or legal team before anything changes.
The free audit shows where you stand today, per engine and per market, and what to fix first.
