You’ve maxed out the Google search terms that convert
You already bid on the searches that bring qualified leads, and more Google budget buys very little extra. Microsoft Ads is the next place to look for those searches.
COSEOM® offers Bing Ads management for B2B teams that already run Google Ads: we rebuild your Microsoft Ads account (formerly Bing Ads), send its leads to your CRM and compare its cost per qualified lead with Google's, in the markets where you sell.
We reply within one working day.
It isn't right for every B2B account. If your terms get very few searches in your markets, or your budget is too small to learn from two platforms, keep it on Google.
You already bid on the searches that bring qualified leads, and more Google budget buys very little extra. Microsoft Ads is the next place to look for those searches.
Someone imported the Google campaigns once, or a schedule still does it. Each scheduled import resets the campaigns to their Google settings, budgets included.
The platform reports conversions, but sales can't find those leads or tell them apart from Google's. So nobody can say whether Microsoft is worth its budget.
Microsoft Ads is one part of our B2B PPC agency work, planned together with Google Ads management and, where it fits, LinkedIn Ads.
An import brings over most supported campaigns, ads, targets, extensions and settings. Auto-generated assets, automated rules and IP exclusions stay behind, and unsupported bid strategies get switched. We rebuild what's missing, because each scheduled import resets your settings to Google's.
Microsoft Ads can raise or lower bids by the company, industry or job function on a person's LinkedIn profile, and everyone else can still see your ads. We bid up the profiles that match your ideal customer and bid down the industries and job functions sales turns away. The profile data leaves out users in the EU, the EEA, the UK and Switzerland, and covers markets such as the US, Canada and Mexico.
Every distribution option includes both search ads and Audience ads. We check the publisher report, exclude partner sites that bring clicks without leads, and in Search campaigns block audience placements such as MSN or Outlook.com where they don't pay off.
We install the UET tag, set up conversion goals and connect leads to HubSpot, Marketo or Salesforce before any budget goes live. Microsoft requires consent signals on the tag and stops tracking UET conversions without them.
We research keywords and write ad copy for each market, with native-language review before launch. Your English ads are never translated word for word.
Each week we review search terms, add negative keywords, adjust bids and budgets, and check partner and placement results against cost per qualified lead.
Microsoft imports most supported campaigns, ads, targeting, extensions and settings from Google Ads by default. These four differences decide whether the account pays off. For the long version, read our guide to Microsoft Ads vs Google Ads for B2B.
Microsoft says not all information comes across and that imported campaigns need a review. Automated rules and IP exclusions have to be recreated, and conversion goal import is still a pilot.
Microsoft Advertising is the only ad platform besides LinkedIn that lets you target by LinkedIn profile information. It adjusts bids on top of your keywords, in the markets its profile data covers, such as the US and Canada.
Search ads can appear on AOL, Yahoo, DuckDuckGo, Ecosia and other search partners. Every distribution option also includes Audience ads, which can appear on MSN, Microsoft Edge, Outlook.com and publisher partner sites.
We run Microsoft and Google from one plan inside our PPC services, so budget moves to whichever platform brings the lower cost per qualified lead.
Results take as long as your search volume and your sales cycle take, so we don't set a date. The order of the work stays the same.
We get access to Microsoft Advertising, Google Ads, analytics and your CRM, install the UET tag, and agree with sales what counts as a qualified lead.
We review the import or build the account and add LinkedIn profile bid adjustments where your markets are covered by the profile data. The first reports then drive the cleanup of search terms, negative keywords and placements.
Once both platforms have enough conversions, we compare cost per qualified lead. We scale what works and stop what doesn't, and that includes Microsoft Ads itself if Google spends the budget better.
Platform conversions are where it starts. We judge Microsoft Ads on the leads your sales team accepts, next to Google. Attribution across a long B2B sales cycle has gaps.
The same metric and tracking methodology for both platforms, providing a consistent basis for budget decisions.
Which Microsoft leads reached your CRM, how many were accepted by sales, and how they progressed through the pipeline. Where it helps, we import offline conversions, which Microsoft accepts as conversion tracking for the Maximize conversions bid strategy.
The searches that triggered your ads, the partner sites in the publisher report and the placements we excluded. Microsoft doesn't report ads served in Copilot separately.
An always-on dashboard, plus a monthly report on pipeline performance: cost per qualified lead, cost per opportunity, sales-accepted rate and pipeline value.
Together with the team at a legal software company, we lowered their cost per acquisition and grew organic traffic by 200%. That comes from their Senior Manager, Digital Marketing, in a verified Clutch review. These results come from our joint work across channels, not from Microsoft Ads alone. You can find more examples in our B2B case studies.
It depends on your market and your terms. Microsoft Ads earns its place when it delivers a lower cost per qualified lead than investing the same additional budget in Google Ads. It's usually not worth it when your terms get very few searches in your markets, or when your budget is too small to learn from two platforms. We check demand in each market first, then decide with a measured test.
You can, and it's a sensible first draft. Microsoft imports most supported campaigns, ads, targets, ad extensions and settings. It doesn't import auto-generated text and image assets, automated rules or IP exclusions, and it switches unsupported bid strategies to enhanced CPC, or to manual CPC in Audience campaigns. Conversion goal import is still a pilot that not every account has, and it only covers tag-based, page-visit goals created in Google Ads. Scheduled imports also reset your campaigns to their Google settings each time they run, budgets included.
It lets you adjust bids by the company, industry or job function people list on their LinkedIn profiles. Microsoft Advertising is the only ad platform besides LinkedIn that offers it, in Search, Dynamic Search ad, Microsoft Shopping, Audience and Performance Max campaigns. It is bid only: it raises or lowers your bid for matching profiles, and everyone else can still see your ads. A campaign or ad group can target up to 1,000 companies. For international B2B one limit matters most: the profile data leaves out users in the EU, the EEA, the UK and Switzerland, so it can help with audiences in markets such as the US, Canada, Mexico or Brazil, and it can't adjust bids for buyers in the UK, Germany or Spain.
It depends on the scope. The main factors are how many markets you sell in, how many campaigns each market needs, whether Microsoft runs in one plan with your Google Ads, and how much tracking work has to happen first. We scope it after the strategy call.
Microsoft sets a small minimum daily budget and says its minimums can change. What matters is enough clicks in each market to reach a decision on cost per qualified lead. If your total budget is small, it will often perform better on one platform than when split across two, and we'll say so on the call.
There's no honest date to give, because it depends on your search volume and your sales cycle. The order of work doesn't change: access and tracking first, then the import review or build, then the first cleanup of search terms, negative keywords and placements. Once both platforms have enough conversions, we compare cost per qualified lead with Google. Judging the effect on revenue takes at least one full sales cycle.
Search ads can appear on Bing, AOL, Yahoo, DuckDuckGo, Ecosia and other search partners. Audience ads can appear on MSN, Microsoft Start, Microsoft Edge, Outlook.com and publisher partner sites. Every distribution option includes both search and Audience ads, so there's no search-only setting. A Search campaign can't block Bing, AOL or Yahoo search traffic. It can exclude audience placements such as MSN, Microsoft Edge and Outlook.com, and partner sites you find in the publisher report. We review partners and placements separately and exclude what brings clicks without leads.
They can. Microsoft opts eligible campaigns into Copilot automatically, advertisers can't opt out, and there's no guarantee an ad shows there. Search ads need a logo to be eligible. Microsoft doesn't report Copilot results separately, so there are no Copilot-only numbers to show you. Getting your company cited in Copilot's answers without paying for it is separate work, covered by our GEO agency. Sponsored placements in ChatGPT are a separate channel: see ChatGPT Ads.
Yes, if tracking is in place before launch, and that's where we start. We install the UET tag with conversion goals. Microsoft requires consent signals through Consent Mode or the IAB Transparency and Consent Framework. Without them, Microsoft stops tracking UET conversions. Leads go into HubSpot, Marketo or Salesforce, and where it helps we import offline conversions into Microsoft Advertising. Reports show cost per qualified lead and sales-accepted rate for Microsoft next to Google, in an always-on dashboard and a monthly report on pipeline performance.
We need access to your Microsoft Advertising account, read access to Google Ads for the import, and access to analytics and your CRM. A developer or tag manager contact helps us install the UET tag. From sales, we need your ideal customer profile and what counts as a qualified lead, plus someone on your side to approve ad copy. The account and its data stay yours.
