01 · Definition

What travel tech marketing covers

Travel tech marketing is marketing for companies that sell software to travel buyers: corporate travel and expense platforms, hotel and hospitality systems, and booking and distribution tools. The goal is to get that software onto the shortlists of travel managers, finance teams and hoteliers, in search results and in AI answers, and to turn their interest into sales conversations.

02 · The problem

Where travel software marketing gets stuck

This page is for companies that sell software. It is not for hotels, tour operators or destinations marketing their own rooms and trips.

“Our ads attract travelers, not buyers”

Words like "travel" and "hotel" are also searched by people planning a trip. Your search campaigns should run on the software terms your buyers use, with consumer searches blocked by negative keywords, and your LinkedIn campaigns should target by job title. That is how we set them up.

“ChatGPT names our competitors, not us”

In G2's 2026 survey, nearly three in four (71%) B2B software buyers rely on AI chatbots for software research. We run your buyers' questions through the main AI engines, show you who gets named and which pages get cited, then work on your pages and on the review sites and directories the engines cite.

“Deals slow down once procurement gets involved”

Corporate travel RFP guidance names procurement, finance, HR and IT among the people to involve. Each of them has questions of their own, on cost, security, payments and data, and we write the pages and documents that answer them.

03 · Services

Six channels, set up for travel buyers

We plan them as one program and judge paid channels on qualified leads and pipeline, and AI visibility on Share of Answer. The mix depends on who buys your product and in which markets.

Visibility in AI answers

We run the questions buyers ask about corporate travel platforms or hotel systems through the AI engines, show who gets named, then work on the pages that get cited. This is the core of our GEO agency work for B2B software.

Paid search on software terms

Google and Microsoft Ads on the terms buyers use for your category, with consumer travel searches excluded. Run as part of our international PPC management.

LinkedIn by role and company

LinkedIn reaches decision makers by role, company and industry, so your ads can reach travel managers, procurement and finance, or the teams at hotel groups. See our LinkedIn Ads management.

SEO for category and comparison pages

Category, comparison and glossary pages for the terms your buyers search, like the blog and glossary we built with TravelPerk. Built through our B2B SEO services.

Account-based campaigns

A named list of hotel groups, management companies or companies with large travel programs, reached across ads and content. Part of our B2B demand generation.

Content for each reviewer

Pages and documents for each person who reviews your product, from the travel manager to IT, written natively for each market by our B2B copywriting team.

04 · Buyers and compliance

Who signs, and what they check first

Corporate travel buyers are told to bring several teams into a software decision, and hotel chains add their own vendor rules. Campaigns have to reach that whole group and answer the checks that decide whether you stay on the shortlist.

The buying group

Corporate travel RFP guides name travel managers, procurement, finance, HR, risk or security teams, and frequent travelers as the people to involve. For hotels it depends on the property: independents have more freedom to choose, while chain hotel companies require member properties to use their proprietary or approved technology vendors.

A cycle set by the RFP

Corporate travel buyers can run a formal RFP, and the Global Business Travel Association publishes RFP templates and toolkits, including ones for sourcing a travel management company and for payment solutions.

The compliance questions

If your product stores, processes or transmits card data, buyers will ask about PCI DSS. Personal data of travelers and guests in the EU can fall under the GDPR. Travel risk teams may work from ISO 31030, a guidance standard for travel risk management.

How we build it into campaigns

Separate landing pages and messages for each segment, security and data answers published before prospects ask your sales team, and ad copy approved by your team before launch. Conversion tracking into your CRM is in place before launch.

05 · How we work

From research to scaling what works

How fast it moves depends on your market and your sales cycle, so we don't set a date. The order stays the same.

  1. 01

Map the buyers and the answers

We run your buyers' questions through the AI engines to set a baseline, agree with sales what counts as a qualified lead, and connect tracking to your CRM.

  2. 02

    Build and launch

We rewrite and publish the pages your buyers need, starting where competitors get named and you don't, and launch the campaigns.

  3. 03

    Measure, then scale or stop

We report on qualified leads, pipeline and Share of Answer, then scale what works and stop what doesn't.

06 · Proof

Travel software brands we have worked with

Together with the team at TravelPerk (now Perk), we earned organic rankings on the platform's highest-intent category terms, ran single-keyword ad groups for tight PPC control, and built a WordPress blog and glossary as the company launched into new European markets. The company was recognized as one of the fastest-growing SaaS businesses that year. We have also worked with Splendia, in hotel booking, and ReviewPro, in hotel reputation software. 07 · FAQ

Questions travel tech teams ask us

What does a travel tech marketing agency do?

It helps companies that sell software to the travel industry reach the people who buy it: travel managers, finance and procurement teams, hotel owners and hotel groups. At COSEOM we run paid search, LinkedIn, SEO, content and visibility in AI answers as one program, and judge it on qualified leads and pipeline.

Do you market hotels, tour operators or destinations?

No. This work is for companies that sell software and services to travel businesses and corporate travel programs, not for hotels or tour operators marketing their own rooms and trips.

How can our travel software get recommended by ChatGPT and other AI assistants?

We run your buyers' questions through the main AI engines and show you who gets named and which pages get cited. Then we rewrite the pages your buyers need, starting where competitors get named and you don't, and work on the review sites and directories that get cited. We measure progress with Share of Answer, the share of those answers that name you.

How do you market software to corporate travel managers?

Corporate travel RFP guidance lists travel managers, procurement, finance, HR, risk or security teams and frequent travelers as typical stakeholders. We reach the travel manager with search, LinkedIn and AI answers, and write the pages and documents the rest of the group reads.

How do you market software to hotels, including branded ones?

Independent hotels have more freedom to choose their own systems, so campaigns reach the property directly. Chain hotel companies require member properties to use their proprietary or approved technology vendors, so for branded hotels campaigns reach the brand as well as the property.

Should a travel tech company use Google Ads or LinkedIn?

They do different jobs. Google Ads shows your ads to people searching for your category, once consumer travel searches are excluded. LinkedIn reaches the buying group by role, company and industry. We compare both on cost per qualified lead.

Which travel tech companies have you worked with?

Together with the team at TravelPerk, now Perk, we worked on organic rankings for high-intent category terms, single-keyword ad groups and a blog and glossary as the company expanded in Europe. We have also worked with Splendia, in hotel booking, and ReviewPro, in hotel reputation software.

How do you measure results?

On leads your sales team accepts and the pipeline they create, tracked into your CRM. For AI answers we report Share of Answer against your competitors. We don't promise a timeline for results, because it depends on your market and your sales cycle.
